Proposed Fire Center at Pimpri

The project is located in Pimpri, Pune, proposed by PCMC and designed by Solespace. Neoinfinit Engineering was appointed as the MEP consultant and undertook comprehensive responsibilities for Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and Fire Protection services.

The scope executed by Neoinfinit included schematic design engineering, load estimation for power and water demand, and ensuring compliance with local norms such as CFO and municipal requirements. Their responsibilities also included space planning for MEP services like pump room, water tanks, shafts, meter rooms, DG sets, and ventilation systems. They coordinated all MEP layouts with architectural and structural elements, provided detailed designs, tender documentation (including BOQs and specifications), and extended support during tendering and negotiation phases.

During construction, they conducted periodic inspections, submitted coordinated MEP drawings, addressed green building requirements (if mandated), and ensured integration of low voltage and fire safety systems. These included addressable fire alarm panels, smoke detectors, hooters, and manual call points with talkback facility.

Additionally, Neoinfinit submitted digitally protected soft copies of all designs, conducted feasibility studies for renewable energy usage where applicable, and ensured timely site visits (72 visits planned). The scope also included responsibility for rectifying any design defects within the defect liability period and supporting all approvals required by the principal architect or PCMC.

The MEP works encompassed value engineering for air conditioning, ventilation of electrical rooms, LT connections, apartment wiring, intercom, data and MATV systems, vertical lift services, water supply, drainage, rainwater harvesting, storm water systems, and UG/OH tank-based water storage systems. Fire protection designs included booster pumps and sprinklers in the parking areas.

The scope is limited to scheme development, design documentation, estimation, execution readiness, and periodic site inspection during the project’s lifecycle.
