Learning Journey — 4 Week Edition

Week 1 — CAD Setup, Discipline and Core Drafting Tools

• Professional CAD workspace setup

• Drafting basics: line, polyline, trim, extend, offset

• Precision tools: snaps, ortho, tracking

• Layer creation and naming discipline

• Text styles, dimension styles, annotation scale setup

• Basic blocks and symbols

• Introduction to CTB and plotting standards

Goal: Build clean drafting habits and accuracy foundation.

Week 2 — Architectural Drafting Fundamentals

• Import architectural plans properly

• Scale checking and grid alignment

• Layer cleanup and base plan readiness

• Doors, windows, walls, and openings representation

• Set up construction lines and references

• Daily practice sheets (Room, Toilet, Kitchen plans)

Goal: Understand and trace real architectural drawings confidently.

Week 3 — MEP Drafting and Sheet System

• MEP symbol library

• Lighting, plumbing, fire, AC layout and circuit basics

• Power layout basics (sockets, AC, DB points introduction)

• Title block preparation and metadata discipline

• Sheet setup with viewports and plot settings

• Legend and notes preparation

Goal: Produce professional architectural and electrical plan sheets.

Week 4 — Execution, Speed and Final Submission

• Speed drafting drills and shortcuts

• Clean-up and QA process like consultancy firms

• Final sheet with DWG and PDF submission

• Review and correction cycle

• Final portfolio assembly

• Certification assessment and completion

Goal: Deliver a real consultancy-grade drawing set — confidently and independently.

• A1 — 2BHK redraw using proper layers

• A2 — Electrical plan and legend

• A3 — Title block and sheet preparation

• Final — Complete PDF and DWG submission
